Sometimes our vertical team meetings can be frustrating but I thought it was a very Beneficial Day!

The mission statement activity reminded me of our big goal and allowed me to reflect on what it really means for my classroom.

Exploring the PE Wikki page made me realize how many resources are actually right at my finger tips.

It was interesting to read other collegues thoughts and opinions about our field. It challenges my mind to think differently.

Looking at different PE programs was my favorite part as it sparked a lot of new ides on how we could improve.

The assessments will be beneficial to eventually align on the vertical team grid figure out where we can see the gaps. Eventually maybe we can look at the rigor of our assessments.

I liked this today. We semed to be productive in the fact that we are all posting at the same place and we are able to see and foolow up with what every one has done. I think it will be helpful looking at the articles that people have found.

We enjoyed working on the Wiki pages due to having an account already there.

It was interesting to read other co-workers thoughts and opinions about our field. We should really utilize their knowledge more often.

These activities help us out and make our brains work at a higher level of thinking.

It is fun to see everyone working well together.

I think when we first started meeting as a vertical team we did not have any direction. I felt it was a wast of time and frustrating. I think we have come a long way as a team. I feel that coming up with a mission statement has helped to remind us of our purpose and why we do what we do. We should look at it several times during the year to help keep our focus.

I honestly do not know how much I will use the wiki. This will be a work in progress for me. I understand and see the need for it but this will have to be a personal goal for me!

It was good to get together and see where the gaps are in our vertical teaming. I had never been on the Wiki blog before. It was a good use of our time. A good start.

I thought the day's activities during Vertical Teaming were very rewarding. It allowed me to become more comfortable with the whole idea of Wiki and Blogging. It also gave me an opprtunity to evaluate the assessment strategies and rubric we use at the high school level. I look forward to the day when we have all bought in to our mission statment.

Participating in Vertical teaming this afternoon was very productive. It gave me oppurtunity to reflect on my classes, assessments, and see other's perspectives on our mission and what level we want to take that mission to.
I am excited that our team is using the wiki and I have access to others rubrics across the district.

Participating in VT today was a great afternoon and very beneficial. I believe today helped dish out a lot of information that is now accessible to everyone.
I find it difficult to set blogging a priority to get online and respond to other blogs people have created.

Love, Eric

Just Matt no partner needed,
This was the most beneficial vertical team experience I've attended. Reflecting on our grade level standards and putting them to a rubric was solid. Also, using technology today made me feel cutting edge. I'm awesome.

I enjoyed today, and found it to be very beneficial. The way things were presented was very interesting to me, and I feel that it kept me focused as we had an agenda.
